#280 My body

A shell
left beside
along with my weight.

As if I wasn’t there.
My body

#194 Lately – Suddenly – Now

This little shell, which is our home,
– lately – has been under siege.

I – suddenly – opened my eyes and locked all the doors and windows.

I’m waiting – now – looking up at the blue sky.

#5 The shell

It’s nice to know that whatever happens outside
I can come here.
It doesn’t matter who I’ve met, or how I’ve been,
here there’s my own room.

Our little shell may be dusty and old fashioned,
but it lays in the sun, and even if it rains
we still have our tiny but cozy, warm place.
